How to Hang Light-Up Ornaments With No Plug
Check the power field first
Look for battery, AC, adapter or plug in the power field before you hang a light-up ornament. Battery power frees a globe from an outlet, while AC power ties a set to a plug.
Look for a sensor or timer
A dusk sensor turns lights on at dark, while a timer runs lights for a set window. Pick the control that fits how you use the room or yard.
Check the hanging part
A hanging string or a hemp rope hook shows how the ornament hangs. Check the power field, not the hanging part, to tell a plug from a string.
Count the pack before you plan a tree
Some packs hold one ball and others hold 12, so check the count in the listing. A dozen balls can spread across a tree, while one ball suits a single spot.
Match the scene to the tree
A pulsing globe, a wood Santa and a miniature scene each suit a different tree. Pick a scene that fits the mood you want on the tree.
