Before You Plug Holiday Lights Into USB
Check the USB plug type
Some sets use a USB-C port with PD support, while others name a plain USB connector. Make sure your charger or power bank has the right port.
Decide on a power bank or a wall charger
A power bank lets you place lights away from an outlet, while a wall charger keeps them on all season. Both BrizLabs listings name both.
Know the difference between USB power and USB charging
Some lights run only while plugged into USB, and others store power in a battery you top up. Read which one the listing describes.
Look for the water rating on outdoor plans
Many USB lights here list no rating, and specs mark some of them for indoor use only. If you want them on a porch, pick one with a listed IP rating.
Choose remote, app or voice
A remote is quick, an app adds schedules, and voice works if you use a listed assistant. Pick the control style you will actually use.
