How to Read an Amazon Christmas Tree Listing for 2026
Check the Included Components Line
Amazon listings have an included components field that names what ships with the tree. Look there for the stand, lights and cables before you add to cart.
Pre-Lit Versus Lights in the Box
A pre-lit tree has its lights already strung on the branches. Some trees ship lights loose, so you wrap them yourself.
Hinged Frames and One-Piece Trees
Hinged branches drop into place as you stack the sections. Small tabletop trees may come as one piece that sits on a base.
Slim in the Title Versus Listed Width
Compare the listed width with the floor or tabletop you have. Slim in a title does not always mean narrow.
Warranty Terms in the Listing
Some makers list separate warranty terms for the tree and the lights. Note them when you compare listings.
