How to Judge a Set With Extras From Its Listing
Look for Hooks and Strings
A hook, a rope, a cord or a string each hangs in a different way. A detachable hook makes hanging quick, while a pre-attached cord saves extra work. Look at the hanging part in the listing before you start.
Count the Pieces in the Set
A set with many pieces fills a large tree, while a set with fewer pieces suits a small tree or a mantel. Look at the count in the listing and picture it on a tree. A larger set also gives you pieces for a wreath.
Check the Sizes in the Set
A set with 4 sizes gives a tree depth, while a set with 1 size gives a neat look. Check the sizes in the listing and picture them on a branch. Pick the size mix that fits the tree you have.
Look for a Box or a Package
A gift package, a gift box or a storage box each helps you keep a set together. A box helps you store the set after the season. Note the included parts in the listing before you hang the set.
Mix One Special Set With a Plain Set
A velvet set or a gold set can lead a tree, while a plain set fills the gaps. Pair a special set with a plain set for balance. Leave room around each piece so it can be seen clearly.
